Terms & Conditions

General

The snowmobile may not be used illegally or in competitions. It is prohibited to transfer or rent the snowmobile. The renter agrees to drive on marked snowmobile tracks and to comply with the rules and regulations regarding snowmobiling. The speed limit on snowmobile tracks is 60 km/h and on lake ice 80 km/h. Snowmobiling is prohibited under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The driver is responsible for any damage he causes to the snowmobile. The driver must obtain any snowmobile permits himself and for any fines or fees resulting from any misuse. The driver is responsible for any damage he causes to third parties. Our snowmobiles use a GPS geofence application, which allows us to subsequently investigate, for example, any damage to seedlings and oblige the driver to answer for his actions to the parties concerned.

If the snowmobile you rent has a technical fault, we will come to the location indicated by the GPS locator to help or move the device away, or we will deliver a replacement. But if we have to go into the terrain due to the driver's driving error, we will charge 80€/h.

The renter and the lessor will check the condition of the sled at the start of the rental and, if necessary, the sled will be photographed.

The driver is obliged to monitor the warning lights on the instrument panel and the operation of the sled and to report any faults immediately to the rental company. If a major fault is caused by the renter's negligence, the renter is obliged to compensate for the repair.

The renter must be immediately notified of any breakage or fault. The sled may not be repaired without the owner's permission. In the event of damage, the renter's deductible is 1500 euros. The deductible must be paid to the owner of the sled immediately upon return of the sled.

Frozen Rental is not obliged to compensate the renter for costs if the damage results in, for example, travel expenses.

Payments are not refunded for unused time, even if the renter returns the sled earlier than agreed. If the sled is not returned as agreed upon at the end of the rental period, the renter has the right to charge the full amount of the costs incurred due to the negligence. We apply the pricing of a full daily rental to this.

The sled is handed over and returned with a full tank of fuel (98E). If the rental company has to refuel the sled after it is returned, we will charge a service fee of 40 euros and the price of fuel. Frozen Rental sleds are always equipped with a spare variator belt and if the belt is damaged due to the driver's operating error, we will charge a new price after the rental period ends.
